Brian & Natasha
by Charles David
ROAD TO ITHACA – We drove to Ithaca this summer, for Brian and Natasha wedding and we can’t tell you, how delightful this trip was.
Ithaca is gorgeous and everyone there was so warm and friendly, we only wish we could do it all again. The ceremony was a mixture of customs from Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Which not only celebrated the diverse background of Brian and Natasha and their love for one another, but also the spirituality they share with each other.
There were many touching moments at this wedding (I had trouble holding back tears!), but this was one of the highlights. The breaking of the glass, which is such a beautiful Jewish wedding tradition, symbolises how long the marriage will last. Upon hearing these words, Brian made sure the glass was shattered into a million pieces by stomping on that glass over and over again.
We’re very excited to announce our beautiful Ithaca wedding with the wonderful Brian and Natasha has been featured on South Asian Bride Magazine’s blog today! Stay tuned for more of this gorgeous wedding on our blog next week!
